When clients step into Ashley’s office, they find a place free from judgment—a sanctuary where their story matters and their experiences are honored. Ashley works as a partner with each client to understand what’s been weighing on their heart and mind, creating individualized plans that feel right for them. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals and couples heal from trauma and address problematic relational patterns and sexual addiction, along with dynamics stemming from grief and loss, betrayal, exploitative relationships, family estrangement, and childhood sexual abuse.
Ashley helps clients explore their authentic selves and find meaning in their experiences, fostering personal agency and responsibility in the healing process. By working together to create new, corrective experiences, clients can gradually reorient their automatic reactions to impulses and interpersonal dynamics. Her approach recognizes that healing trauma requires not just cognitive understanding, but embodied experiences that help regulate the nervous system and create new neural pathways for healthier responses to triggers and relational situations.
Her clinical experience background spans residential treatment, outpatient services, and crisis response, treating persistent and severe co-occurring disorders through group trauma work and individual counseling in-person and via telehealth. She has completed training in Levels I & II of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, the Gottman Treating Affairs and Trauma, and uses the Gottman Method in her work. Ashley is on the Certified Sex Addiction Therapist track with IITAP and is currently an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist – Candidate.
Ashley joins Fourth Dimension as a Seattle University Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Candidate under the mentorship of Heidi Kinsella and brings over four years of dedicated experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and earned post-baccalaureate certificates in Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counseling and Addiction Counseling from San Antonio College. Ashley is a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington State.
