Darren specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families impacted by substance abuse and sexual compulsivity, including sex and pornography addiction, unfaithfulness, infidelity, and sexual betrayal. He is certified as an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and currently works with addicts and betrayed partners, couples and runs two men’s sex addiction groups for Fourth Dimension
Darren is experienced and holds a license in Washington to work with individuals impacted by substance abuse for the last 15 years as an SUDP-S. Darren holds an Associate of Arts degree in Addiction Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Counseling and Counseling Practices and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University with a certificate in Trauma Healing and is currently working as an LMHCA.
Darren has expert knowledge of the disease of addiction and brings more than 23 years of recovery experience along with his professional experience of 15 years. Helping clients and their families navigate through substance abuse.
He has worked with adolescents, young adults, adults, and people from all life situations for several years.
Darren’s passions lie with those impacted by trauma, homelessness, incarceration, Queer identities and oppression/colonization. Activism for the forgotten, shunned and left behind.
